You've all heard me talk about my son and his story. That video at the top is this mother's reason for gratitude, among many. Thanks to the ACA, he has prospects for a long and healthy future. I only wish it were true for everyone.

My hope is for all mothers, no matter what color their skin is, to be able to live a life that isn't dogged with worry over their children's safety at the hands of those in authority.

I'm grateful for all of you, for your unflagging support and thoughtful comments, too. I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving and the ability to find some gratitude behind whatever corner it may be hiding.
