I don't know one young person who falls into that generational category we call Millennials who has a landline anymore. Hell, I don't know anyone under the age of 55 who has a landline they use reliably. I have one just so every pollster who calls me can go to voicemail, and that's about it. People who want to talk to me know to call me on the cell.

Leave it to Ron Fournier to tout a Harvard study that claims millennials are ditching Obama for Republicans, because they just love Republican stalemates or something. Fox News has been orgasmic over it, too.

The only hitch to the study is this: It was conducted only on landlines, and over half of the respondents earn more than $50,000 per year. That's a study that deserves heavy skepticism.

A study released by Harvard this week finds that roughly half of millennials will vote Republican. There’s just one issue: The survey was conducted via landline. Nando Vila and Kal Penn take this flawed methodology to task. What do you think?

But for more insight, we needed an expert. Raffi Williams is the deputy press secretary for youth at the Republican National Committee. He read that Harvard study too, and he explains the outcome thusly: Young people are sick of Obama and want to side with the youthful, hip party known as the Grand Old Party. He joins “Midterm Mayhem” to celebrate his impending victory and tell us a little more about why young voters have become disillusioned with the Democratic party. What do you think?

That's how weird this election cycle is.
