Another mass shooting tragedy:
MARYSVILLE, Wash. -- A freshman student opened fire at a high school north of Seattle, critically injuring three other students, then killing himself, based on police, student and hospital reports. Maryville police did not confirm any other injuries.
Providence Hospital said they have received four injured young people, three are in critical condition and in surgery.
Police said they do not believe there are any other shooters on campus. They are clearing the campus now.
The shooting at Marysville Pilchuck High School took place at 10:39 a.m. Friday, according to Marysville police. The campus is on lockdown.
Aerials showed students being led out of the school and evacuated onto buses.
"We all heard the fire alarm. We didn't hear any gunshots because we were so far away," said Bryce Vitcovitch, student. "We all started to evacuate into the field. Right when we got to the field, a teacher came running out obviously in a hurry and he was yelling to go back into the classrooms...We got into the classrooms immediately and from there rumors started flying."
Parents should not go to the high school. Police are setting up a transfer location at Shoultes Community Church.
