Naturally, he was the person Fox News chose to interview to put any fears to rest that the Republicans are culpable for the current budget shortfalls affecting the CDC and the NIH. It took Gottlieb less than one minute to claim that 'Obamacare' has taken a billion dollars from the budgets of these federal agencies.
A lot of money has been taken from the CDC and put into prevention techniques as part of Obamacare.

Gottlieb praises Dr. Thomas Frieden from the CDC for adapting quickly and making wise changes to procedures involving treating Ebola patients.
