Hello, everyone. I hope your summers are going well. (At least those of you in the northern hemisphere.) As for me, I'm back at it after a restful vacation – restful in large part because I wasn't paying close attention to the news, which in the U.S. context seems more and more to be about Fascist America and its discontents, with horrible things happening both domestically (e.g., Ferguson) and abroad (e.g., Gaza).
In any event, we're ramping things back up over at my place, with some of the same old fascinations as we head into election season, like, for example, Sarah Palin, who is still so amusingly delusional after all these years. (Obviously.)
Here are some links to get the week started…
The Garlic: The winning narrative in Ferguson.
Booman Tribune: Rand Paul could kill the GOP.
Just an Earth-Bound Misfit, I: Still no jail for the banksters.
All Things Democrat: A better name for that Washington football team.
Round-up by Michael J.W. Stickings of The Reaction. (Twitter: @mjwstickings.) I'll be here all week.
