Gould is what we musicians call "scary good" at piano. The man loved Bach and dedicated most of his time to mastering his vast catalog of works. This is about as good as you can get at your instrument, a level where you can only be described as a machine with soul. Not many have come close to this sort of talent, and I could not have more respect for those who have.
