Another release of obscure material by Stones Throw, the label is doing a lot to preserve and proliferate music that's gone largely unrecognized outside of its time period and geographic region. In this case, Brazil Guitar, Fuzz Bananas is a collection of the Brazilian take on the psychedelic movement of the late '60s, which is pretty interesting. The album is full of mixtures of rock and Brazilian instrumentation, from Vox organs to caixas. Whether you're into indigenous styles or rock, you should have no problem getting into this stuff.
