Chris McDaniel appeared before his supporters in a bitter and foul mood. He went on for a few minutes about how voters preferred the pork barrel policies of his opponent before launching into a diatribe about 'voting irregularities.'

But the one thing he did not do was concede.

Mississippi runoffs don't have any provision for a recount, so it's unclear what recourse McDaniel would possibly have, especially when turnout was higher and he lost by over 6,000 votes at last count.
