If you're Bryan Fischer, America is a fine place to defend as long as we can go on hating gays and anyone else on the AFA hate list. But if they have Constitutional rights, well hey -- just hang it up and move on.

On his radio program yesterday, Bryan Fischer took a call from Tom, a twenty-two year veteran of the Air Force, who wondered why he served in Vietnam and put his life on the line for a nation that now allows gays to serve in the military when God calls it an "abomination."
"I question sometimes why I spent twenty-two years protecting what I was protecting," Tom said, "when we're willing to stand by and let it be washed away or given away by those in power."
Fischer, of course, was entirely sympathetic, saying that America was once "worth bleeding and dying for because ... we stood for Judeo-Christian morality" (Read on...)
To me, the mark of character would be defending constitutional principles no matter who benefits from them. To hear them use those constitutional protections to advocate selective application to others is just repugnant and wrong in my eyes.
