Fox News is leading a new charge of federal government land grabbing malfeasance by claiming the BLM is going to steal land between the Texas side of the Red River.
According to background materials put out by Texas Republican Rep. Mac Thornberry’s office, the BLM is revisiting its management plan for lands including those along a 116-mile stretch of the Red River. His office said the possibility has been discussed of opening that land up for “hunting, recreation and management."
Abbott, in his letter to the agency, said “it is not at all clear what legal basis supports the BLM’s claim of federal ownership over private property.” He said private landowners have cultivated the property “for generations.”
Rick Perry was on Fox News discussing the recent dustup between anti-federal government zealots and the BLM, including this unfounded report that the BLM is going to confiscate privately owned lands in Texas.
He's obviously looking to secure the Oath Keeper and Militia vote by claiming the Bundys were forced into the position of using force because it's the Bureau of Land Management that's acting outside the law.
Everyone knows that Bundy is lying about his claims of "ancestral rights" on his property since his family didn't own the land until 1948. And we also know that he's violating multiple court orders and has refused to pay grazing fees for decades while all the other ranchers are doing just that.
The former governor of Texas has no problem with armed militias running around with guns, threatening federal officials.
Varney; Do you have problem with guys with guns, getting together and opposing federal force?
Perry: Well, here’s here’s the bigger issue…I have a problem with the federal government putting citizens in the position of having to feel like they have to use force to deal with their own government. That’s the bigger issue.
Earth to Rick Perry, these anti-government clowns Do Not believe the feds are their government and have no jurisdiction against them in any capacity.
Later in the interview Perry states that America is a "rule of law" country, but ignores that Cliven Bundy and his peeps are breaking those laws.
Perry: {BLM} acting like that private property is something that they control and they are going to be able to make the decision about who this belongs to. We're a rule of law country and private property is at the base of it and unless the federal govt respects that then I’ll suggest to you that they are the ones that are instigating the opportunity of misfortune.
Then Wanker Varney ignores that the BLM denies having any interest in expanding federal holdings along the Red River to distort their words to provoke Rick Perry, who then said Obama and his administration acts "Imperialistically" all the time.
Varney: The BLM is categorically not expanding federal holdings along the red river. The directly contest the view that it’s private property
Perry: I think we have an administration that acts Imperialistically and I've seen too many times of this president and this administration and I think we're seeing an extension of that in BLM.
Oye. Rick Perry appears to be back on pain killers again because he has no clue about what any of these cases are about. All he knows is..Imperial presidency, blah, blah, blah, armed militias are real Americas and Benghazi.
