Yet Another Bitcoin ‘Bank Robbery’

Flexcoin, a Website that once billed itself as the “world’s first Bitcoin bank,” is reporting a massive robbery.

“On March 2nd 2014 Flexcoin was attacked and robbed of all coins in the hot wallet,” reads a new posting on Flexcoin’s homepage. “The attacker made off with 896 BTC,” divided between two addresses:

The theft was a crippling blow, the posting continued: “As Flexcoin does not have the resources, assets, or otherwise to come back from this loss, we are closing our doors immediately.”
