Lyndon LaRouche is still alive, well, and sending his paid minions out to stand in front of post offices with posters of President Obama with a Hitler mustache and calls for his impeachment.
LaRouche also manages (somehow) to fool idiots into being bigger idiots and keep his organization running, while fielding candidates as Democrats in places where Democrats running as Democrats would never win.
Kesha Rogers is one of those candidates. Her website brags that she is responsible for the Hitler image:
I also put the Hitler mustache on Obama, because his healthcare legislation values money over peoples' lives, which is explicitly a crime Nazi doctors were found guilty of during their trials at Nuremberg, in addition to more well known horrors. By raising the specter of Hitler's T-4 program in Obama's IPAB, Democratic Party bloggers screamed that I was arguing that "making sure everyone has coverage" was the same thing as the Holocaust. Yet what do we see, three years later? Hospitals are going bankrupt nationwide, public medical services are being cut, people are losing their coverage en masse, preventive screenings are being denied in the name of "cost-effectiveness", and there is widespread promotion of euthanasia and abortions in a society that can't afford to pay for both rent and medicine. Make no mistake: Obamacare is a pro-death "health" program.
Yet for 50 years, Democrats haven't been able shake this parasite from their party designation. Now Kesha is running for office again, this time in the Texas Senate primary. For some reason, Texas Democrats are fretting about her presence, but seem to refuse to denounce her as a Democrat.
The Hill reported Monday that Democrats are "scrambling" to prevent Kesha Rogers, a supporter of Lyndon LaRouche, from getting the nomination. The fear has some grounding.
A University of Texas/Texas Tribune poll last month found that Rogers has 35 percent support in the Democratic primary while dentist David Alameel gets 27 percent and attorney Maxey Scherr gets 15 percent. If no candidate can get more than 50 percent support there's a runoff between the top two candidates in May.
Rogers has also previously drawn Hitler mustaches on posters of Obama, according to The Hill.
Alameel, The Hill notes, has the lead in fundraising having collected $3.5 million toward his candidacy followed by Scherr with $300,000 and Rogers with a tiny $27,000.
"The party is working very hard to make sure she's not the nominee," former Rep. Martin Frost (D-TX) said in an interview with MSNBC on Monday. Frost is a former chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
Geez, Democrats. Can't you do better than this? It shouldn't be hard to point out a fascist LaRouchie to your audience and simply tell them the "D" by her name is meaningless. She's about as "D" as Hitler was.
