From The Atlantic's The Economy Summit 2014 which aired this Tuesday, the AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka was asked by Bloomberg's Margaret Carlson what labor unions were doing to "get parity for women and minorities on wages."
As Trumka explained, just belonging to a union takes care of that wage gap, because it doesn't exist, and women are paid the same as their male counterparts if they're working the same job.
