TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie’s former two-time campaign manager, who was forced out of the running to lead New Jersey’s Republican Party when the controversy erupted over lane closings at the George Washington Bridge, has landed on his feet.
The former aide, Bill Stepien, has taken a job with FLS Connect, a Minnesota-based political consulting firm that has worked with most Republican presidential campaigns since 1999 — and also worked on Christie’s re-election bid last year.
Kevin Marino, Stepien’s attorney, declined to comment.
