So because everyone's paranoid about the Malaysia flight, this is quite a big story in Philly tonight:

A tire violently blew out amid a U.S. Airways flight's takeoff sending 149 passengers frantically crawling out the emergency side doors.

Amid the chaos, it was a lone female passenger who valiantly posed for a selfie.
"So my plane just crashed ... I almost died," @han_horan Tweeted. "So yup," she added with her face angled before the downed plane and emergency crews.

The passengers aboard Flight 1702 heading for Florida were forced to evacuate onto the Philadelphia International Airport's runway after a nose gear collapse that left plumes of smoke.

[...] Flights departing to and from Philadelphia were temporarily delayed, according to an airport spokesperson. That flight scheduled for takeoff at 5:52 p.m. for Ft. Lauderdale was rescheduled.

U.S. Airways said they were notified of the incident at 6:30 p.m., -- along with Twitter.
