Democratic candidate Mike Dickinson, who is challenging House Majority Whip Eric Cantor in Virginia, managed to get the right wing whipped up into a frenzy with a series of Tweets, calling out Fox "news" and Sean Hannity for doing nothing but reporting lies and mistruths.
This Tuesday night, he got a chance to go one on one with Hannity, and while I give him credit for being willing to face Hannity, who he had to know was going to be completely hostile to him after he attacked him on Twitter, he also managed to give every Democrat who is even remotely thinking about appearing on that network, and especially with someone as mean and nasty as Sean Hannity, a lesson on exactly what you should not do if you're going to go on there.
First of all, you have a list of bullet points you want to make and expect to get interrupted. And after you get interrupted, make the points you want to make anyway, because it might be the only chance you get because Hannity is going to cut you off and interrupt you and change the subject at every turn.
And that's exactly what happened here. Dickinson managed to get out about a half a sentence before being continually derided and interrupted by Hannity, and then Hannity changed the subject entirely from how awful Fox is and how they lie to their audience day in and day out to attacking the Affordable Care Act and Dickinson for supporting it.

Sean Hannity tonight took on a Democratic congressional candidate who criticized Fox News via Twitter.
“Fox News does nothing but tell lies and mistruths. They have unqualified political analysts. We need FCC to monitor and regulate them,” Mike Dickinson tweeted.
Dickinson hopes to unseat House Majority Whip Eric Cantor in central Virginia.
On "Hannity" tonight, Dickinson said, “You tell lies there, you distort the truth, you promote hate.”
Hannity asked how Fox News promotes hate, and Dickinson cited Fox News’ coverage of ObamaCare. Dickinson said he supports the Affordable Care Act.
“Let me ask you a question,” Hannity said. “Did President Obama promise, ‘If you like your plan, you can keep your plan?’”
“He did,” Dickinson said.
“Did he say, ‘If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor?’” Hannity asked.
“He did say that,” Dickinson said.
“So the bottom line is he told lies and mistruths, the very criticism you have against us, and yet you support him […] You sound like a hypocrite,” Hannity said.
But Dickinson said that the people who lost their plans should be angry at the insurance companies, not Obama.
