According to the Washington Post, Republican Mark Obenshain will concede the Virginia Attorney General race to Democrat Mark Herring today in Richmond.

Evidently the first vote count in Virginia was the better one for Republican Mark Obenshain. As the recount has progressed, Democrat Mark Herring widened his lead to 800 votes.

Obenshain's concession means all statewide offices in Virginia will be held by Democrats, a welcome change from the administration of Bob McDonnell and Ken Cuccinelli.
