WASHINGTON -- The home of the chief-of-staff to Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) was searched by law enforcement officials in connection with a child pornography investigation, the Tennessee Republican said Wednesday.
Ryan Loskarn, who was named Alexander's chief-of-staff in 2011, has been placed on administrative leave without pay, according to a statement from Alexander.
“I am stunned, surprised and disappointed by what I have learned," Alexander said in his statement. "The office is fully cooperating with the investigation."
