Phil Ochs was still a young man when he died in 1976. But he left a rich legacy of protest music that still impacts people today. When I was a student he I saw him at all the big protest rallies-- against the War in Vietnam and for civil rights. Many thought he was the real musical heir of Woody Guthrie.
