I finally got the opportunity to see Sicko on DVD this weekend. I'm familiar with much of it, and having spent time overseas, I can attest as well to how superior the socialized healthcare of the UK, France and Norway, as depicted in the movie, is in comparison to our system.
But the person that really struck me in the whole movie was former Labour MP Tony Benn, for so clearly elucidating how Americans in general (I think liberals to a lesser extent) have forgotten what it means to have a representative government:
