Good morning, fellow netizens. It's Alex from Martini Revolution, and once again I have the pleasure of narrating today's roundup.
Reconciliation?? Iraqis don't need no stinkin' reconciliation!!! Some would argue that in the absence of any attainable goal, it's time to pack up and go home.

Right Blogostan was afire after Howie Kurtz exposes the emessem's unwillingness to publish good news – like the news published in Howie's own paper. At the same time, Roger asks some trenchant questions about Howie's "media expert." Like what asylum he busted her out of. Howie pulls another stunning reveal today, disclosing that the liberal media depicted Iraq as a disaster by choosing to refer to the unpleasantness over there as a "civil war," over the objections of the White House.

Speaking of our liberal media, kern-obsessed, watchdog, "fact"-checking Wingnuts are no doubt demanding an explanation as to why CBS would use a reporter whose husband represents Lynne Cheney's literary efforts to interview -- Lynne Cheney. No, wait – actually they're not. Instead, they are hot on the trial of a 12-year old "yuppie" who attends a fancy private school and lives in a palatial mansion tract home/woodshop, yet claims his family can't afford health insurance.

Fred Thompson, having entered the presidential race, has now gone looking for advice on how to run a campaign in all the wrong places. Bush, meanwhile, keeps on ignoring advice from all the right places on how to fight and reduce terrorism.

Sandy Berger Canard Redux! Bush Hagiographer and tosser-of-softball-questions Bill Sammon, author of The Most Bitchin'est President Evar! The Evangelical President writes in his rightwing rag that pants-stuffing copy-thief Sandy Berger is now an "advisor" to Hilary Clinton, sending the Right back into their hard drives for those old talking points. Except maybe he isn't actually an advisor to Clinton at all. As Tbogg points out, that doesn't exonerate Berger from his failure to interpret that fateful Presidential Daily Briefing.
