I heard from Eric Clapton's U.S. manager today telling me he had just gotten an advance copy of Eric's autobiography, which will be out in October. He'll have a 2 CD retrospective coming out around that same time. I know a version of this song will be on it. Now, I'm not a big fan of sappy love songs but I always thought this Clapton tune was one of the most romantic songs I've ever heard. On this live version he's joined by Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits.
