The American Research Group recently conducted a survey that 54% of those surveyed supported the impeachment of Dick Cheney. My first reaction was "Why so low?" Having some personal experience with surveys, I'd like to see exactly how the framed that particular question (and what other questions were surrounding it) to get an idea of why exactly someone with an approval rating at or nearing the single digits--of whom a majority believe he may have committed illegal acts--would not merit at least an investigation of articles of impeachment in a larger majority of those surveyed.
I tell you, it's a concept that needs more consideration. As I said a couple of days ago, I was slow to join the impeachment bandwagon. But the idea of starting with Cheney certainly has a logic and appeal to it on many levels. Robert Greenwald and Brave New Films has a new ad out supporting Dennis Kucinich's HR 333.
