Ms. Pirro also demanded an investigation into the leaking of transcripts of her conversations with Mr. Kerik during the summer of 2005. Authorities were recording Mr. Kerik’s conversations at the time as part of broader investigation into his former conduct as a public official. Those transcripts, which were first reported by WNBC Channel 4 this afternoon, include profanity-laden rants by Ms. Pirro about her husband, as well as politically damaging remarks — at one point, she is recorded dismissing the attorney general’s job as a “been-there-done-that kind of thing.”
