A quick note: Karl Rove gave a speech on immigration at the National Council of La Raza today and a C&L reader who was there said:

The reception was lukewarm to frothy. Many people (about 25%) started to join in with a few protesters while he was speaking. Governor Bill Richardson was the next speaker up...
