President Bush's wail that Social Security is in crisis has been going on for almost thirty years now. Yet in all that time he doesn't have a plan to present anyone other than the system is going bankrupt? I mean if I hated something even for a few weeks, I would look at the problem, study it, weigh my options, and then present myself with a solution, at least on some basic level. It took Sen. Chuck Hagel all of a few months to come up with his. "All options are on the table" is not a plan. Despite this lack of "planning" outside of ideologic disdain for Social Security, there is a hand in motion after all. One that involves tearing down the AARP.
