I've been in hostile basketball games before back in High school. Half the team didn't show up to a game back in the late 70's because of intimidation. Is this a new trend? I really don't think so, and I doubt that the Indiana Pacers/Detroit Piston brawl had any influence on this situation. As more information becomes available, I'm sure we'll find out.
