After discussing Rush Limbaugh's attacks on the escrow account President Obama had BP set up as a "slush fund" and how the claims will be paid out, Chris Matthews apparently isn't too happy with Mike Papantonio for this description of Rush Limbaugh.

Papantonio: Rush Limbaugh's slush fund is infuriating. He called it a slush fund. This is going to save families who can't make house payments. It's going to put food on the table for their children. These are issues that this golden mike, silver spoon windbag has never had to experience. It's easy for him... it's easy for him to be critical of money that's going to victims because he sits as this old, irrelevant, confused old man in his Florida resort with his child bride, who is so disconnected with reality...

Matthews: Alright.

Papantonio: ...that he even makes Joe Barton look like a genius.

Matthews: Well even though, I don't get personal like that but let me make a point that I find true with you.

He goes on to agree that maybe Rush Limbaugh is out of touch with the type of people who are his radio audience. You think Chris? I think Pap should have said trophy wife and not child bride since Rush did marry a grown woman even though she's a lot younger than him, but his points were dead on about just who Limbaugh is; a rich out of touch gasbag with little concern for the fools that are silly enough to listen to his radio show and who makes personal attacks against everyone he doesn't like day after day and everyone's fair game, including children.

Heaven forbid Pap returned some fire. And of course we all know Matthews would never make personal attacks of his own... right? Well, maybe they're okay if your name is Hillary Clinton.

Tweety keeps asking for Republicans to come on his show who disagree with Rush Limbaugh. I guess that will be alright with him as long as they don't call him any names. Lord knows we can't have anyone going around insulting him. Rushbo might get his feelings hurt and we couldn't have that now could we?
